Missions
Europe:
Greater
Europe Mission helps people in Europe find faith in
Jesus Christ and grow in that faith, through Bible study
groups, street theater, puppetry, sports, music,
teaching and more. GEM reaches out to orphans and AIDS
patients, sends teams to help construct and repair
buildings, and helps people study the Bible through
distance learning. Sue Hoxie is a missionary with GEM,
the first missionary to be sent out by Cedarbrook
Church.

Peru:
Cedarbrook
Student Ministries has chosen to focus its attention on
the country of
Peru. We are working with two church planters in
Lima, Peru. Moises and Santos Buendia are pastors
who have a heart for planting and overseeing churches in
their home town of Lima and in other area's of
Peru. 2008 will
be our 3rd year working with them and we look forward to
continuing to partner with them.

Cambodia:
In
Cambodia we are privileged to partner with Chomno In,
the founder of Cambodia Hope Organization. He is a
survivor of the Cambodian Holocaust in the late 1970s.
He knows firsthand extreme poverty and hardship.
Separated from his parents and sent to a work camp at
the age of 14 he endured starvation and torture at the
hands of the Khmer rouge. After liberation he lived in a
refugee camp in Thailand. There he met a Christian
doctor who introduced him to Christ. Chomno became a
Christian and was baptized soon after that. God began to
put a vision in his heart to serve his people along the
Thai/Cambodian border-- to help rebuild the country and
its people whose lives had been torn asunder by 30 years
of devastating civil war.
